FRAMES

For unmatched strength and durability, you can’t beat the frames of the Case IH Titan™ Series floaters. Whether you choose the three-wheel frame of the Titan 3020 or 3520, or the four-wheel frame of the Titan 4020 or 4520, both deliver greater frame strength for longer life and increased productivity.

Three-Wheel Frame

  • Travel faster due to the ride comfort of a long 268-in. (6.8 m) wheelbase with reduced lope
  • Available on Titan 3020 and 3520
  • Extended frame life due to 4 x 12 x 5/16-in. high strength, low alloy, rectangular tubing construction
  • Doubled frame strength thanks to full length top and bottom doubler plates
  • Better airflow for cooling is achieved due to open architecture frame design
  • Massively strong and durable front fork assembly
  • Industry exclusive front disc brake for top stopping power
  • Convenient storage areas on chassis

Four-Wheel Frame

  • Minimum frame flex and twist thanks to chassis composed of 4 x 10 x 3/8-in. high strength, low alloy, rectangular tubing
  • Added frame strength thanks to torsion tubes welded between the frame rails
  • Less stress and fatigue with high speed, low deflection tubular frames compared to competitive C-channel style frames
  • Smooth ride thanks to the front axle and spring assembly
  • Exceed day-to-day spreading demands due to rugged rear axles
  • Convenient storage areas on chassis

ENGINES

Titan™ 3020 and 4020 floaters are powered by Cummins engines rated at 305 hp (227 kW) with a power bulge up to 340 hp (253 kW). Titan 3520 and 4520 floaters are rated at 365 hp (272 kW) with a power bulge up to 380 hp (283 kW).

9-Liter, 305-hp (227-kW), Tier III Engine

  • Titan 3020 and 4020 are powered by 305 hp (227 kW) at 2,100 rpm with a power bulge up to 340 hp (253 kW)
  • Fuel miser – consumes only 17.4 gal./hr. (65.9 L/hr.) at full horsepower
  • Peak torque is 1,070 foot-lbs at 1,400 rpm
  • Maximum cooling thanks to a square wave ag radiator design
    • A 30-1/2 in. (77.5 cm) high volume, medium pressure fan maximizes airflow without robbing horsepower from engine

9-Liter, 365-hp (272-kW), Tier II Pegasus Engine

  • Titan 3520 and 4520 are run by 365 hp (272 kW) with a power bulge up to 380 hp (283 kW)
  • Fuel miser – consumes only 19.7 gal./hr. (74.6 L/hr.) at full throttle
  • Peak torque is 1,180 foot-lbs at 1,400 rpm
  • Maximum cooling thanks to a square wave ag radiator design
    • A 30 1/2-in. (77.5-cm) high volume, medium pressure fan maximizes airflow without robbing horsepower from engine

TRANSMISSION

Fewer and smoother gearshifts are needed to run at field speeds – thanks to the Allison 3000 RDS 6-speed pushbutton automatic transmission. All Titan™ Series chassis use the Allison, which is well suited for the torque-developed horsepower created by the engines used in the Titan Series chassis.

Allison Automatic Transmission

  • Engine power is sustained over a wider speed range thanks to the automatic transmission gear splits – requiring fewer and smoother gearshifts.
  • Efficient transmission results are gained from less heat buildup, achieved by minimizing slippage in the torque converter because it locks up in 2nd through 6th gear.
  • Allison transmission is well suited for the torque-developed horsepower created by the engines used in the Titan Series chassis.

CAB

Improve fertilizer/chemical application productivity with the Case IH Surveyor™ cab that offers a stunning panoramic view through 67 sq. ft. (6 sq. m) of glass plus eye-level instrumentation.

Remain productive for long hours thanks to the Optima™ air ride seat, tilt/telescoping steering console, automatic temperature controlled 113 cu. ft. (3 cu. m) of cab space and a seat-mounted control console.

Surveyor Cab

  • Superior comfort, visibility and leg room are hallmarks of the Surveyor™ cab
  • Reduced glare and dust buildup is achieved on a forward tilted front windshield
  • Less eye strain thanks to eye-level instrumentation on right-hand A-post
  • Comfortable seating thanks to the Optima™ air ride seat with control panel built into right side for more intuitive control of spreading/spraying functions

SERVICE

World class serviceability is designed into every Titan™ Series chassis. From the sloped hood that lifts easily with the flip of a lever to the swing-away steps for quick engine fluid access, ground-level service has never been easier.

Easy Service Access

  • Quick and easy engine access is achieved due to sloped hood that lifts up and forward at flip of a lever
  • Cooling components are cleaner longer due to large screened air boxes that create low velocity air movement that prevents chaff buildup
  • Swing-out or removable side radiator panels, for easier radiator and cooler access
  • Easy check of engine fluids, air system and tank due to swing-out steps and battery compartment on Titan 3020 and 3520
